AGM: Friday 28th March,  2008

Previous AGM Mins:
Minutes from the last AGM were accepted.

Presidents report:
[This report was passed on informally by the president and presented by Mark]
The activities for last year were similar to previous years. These included revegetation around the lake; olive removal & olive oil production; weeding in the high-biodiversity area; seed collecting & propagating.  It was also good to link in with activities run by the other enviro groups:
Flinders Environment Action Group (FEAG
Flinders Uni permaculture garden group (FUGC
Organic food co-op
Biodiversity club (BIOD

Treasurers Report:

$1,862 in Budget, half is in a term deposit.

Elections:

1. President: David Hughes nominated. Motion moved by Kath, seconded by Mark.
2. Vice President: Rod Ward nominated. Motion moved by Victoria, seconded by Joseph.
3. Secretary: Peta Page nominated. Motion moved by Danielle, seconded by Dave.
4. Treasurer: Mark nominated. Motion moved by Nigel, seconded by Dave.
5. Webmaster: Rick nominated. Motion moved by Nele, seconded by Mark
6. General committee nominated: Joseph Tamas; Danielle Potts, Nigel Richardson; Katherine Negrin; Victoria Myer; Jarred Sperruzi; Tom Keen

All nominations were voted in favour.

Special resolutions:
Special resolution 1.
To change the name of the association, in the constitution, from ‘Ilkari, Flinders Conservation Group’ to ‘Flinders Conservation Group, Ilkari’

Special resolution 2. [new constitution tabled]
To adopt the new simplified constitution, more closely aligned to the Association Incorporation Act, 1985

Special resolution 3.
To change ‘Clubs and Societies’ references, in the constitution, to ‘Flinders Campus Community Services’.

All resolutions were voted in favour.
